''Coregonus bavaricus'', known as the kilch or Ammersee-Kilch in German, is a species of freshwater whitefish in the family Salmonidae. It is endemic to the Ammersee lake in Bavaria, where it is pelagic in deep water. It is considered a critically endangered species by the IUCN Red List, since it is only found in an area of , and has only been recorded three times since 2000. Between 1951 and 2003 only three specimens have been caught. The standard length is .
